No cookies and no analytics

web2fb2.net sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, so no page view, click or visit is recorded anywhere that we can read.

Nothing loaded from anyone else

The pages load no third party fonts, scripts, trackers or embeds. Every file a page needs comes from this domain. You can confirm that by viewing the page source.

Nothing asked for

There is no form, no sign up, no comment box and no mailing list, so there is no way for the site to be given a name or an email address in the first place.

The ePub inspector and the FB2 to ePub converter

The inspector and the converter read the file you give them using JavaScript that runs on your own machine. The file is not uploaded, not copied and not stored: there is no server to send it to, because this site is a set of static files. The converted ePub is built in your browser too and exists only in the download you choose to save.

Those scripts are served from this domain like every other file here, and they run only on their own two pages.

The light and dark switch

Every page carries one small script for the Light and Dark button. If you press it, your choice is saved in your own browser's storage so the next page opens the same way. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Links to other sites

Articles link out to sources and to software such as Calibre. Those sites have their own privacy practices and this page says nothing about them.

Hosting

The site is static and served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the network requests needed to deliver a page, and that is outside what this site controls or can see.
